Unfortunately, for some people this live area isn’t pulling through properly. They may be experiencing issues with connecting to Far Cry servers or just not having enough space on their computer. I hope this message finds you all well. I want to ask for your help with something. Today, we’re seeing an issue where players are not being able to connect to Far Cry servers.
Our team is currently working on a fix, but in the meantime, if you can’t connect to a server please try the following:
-Make sure that your PC meets the minimum requirements for Far Cry and that you have the latest available updates installed.
-Restart your computer. This will clear any temporary files and settings and may fix some connection issues.
-Check that your firewall isn’t blocking access to our servers. If you use a firewall, make sure that the Far Cry ports are open (25000-25599).
-Ensure that your antivirus software isn’t blocking our game or interfering with it in any way. If you still experience problems connecting, please let us know at support@ubi.com and we’ll do our best to help out.
Why can’t I connect to Far Cry servers?
If you experience connection issues in Far Cry 6, this may be due to your NAT type. Before you jump to conclusions about what the issue may be, please make sure you have opened up port settings on your device and that your NAT status is set to ‘Open or Single’.
We’re not aware of any issues or updates, but we’ll update you if there are.
